However, investment in the sector has remained modest due to lack of opportunities and support.
Ammar Abidi spent many years working in the biocosmetics field, and seized the opportunity to receive financial and technical support from Skills to Succeed to start up "Argilex" the first project of its kind in the region to produce natural cosmetics and medicinal herb-based products.
The high production values contributed to its success on international markets and creation of seven permanent jobs to people from the region.
