We aim at creating a positive change in local institutions and community members and boosting their capacities to manage effectively and successfully their organizations. StS is the first local organization to deliver a full training package in Tataouine; based on a participatory approach. We started by mapping local associations’s needs, conducting a series of field visits, engaging most of them in the program and encouraging them to give their feedback and recommendations. The field visits were aimed at maintaining communication with these associations and spur reluctant ones to participate in the program.

Most of the training topics focused on raising funds and guaranteeing their sustainability. The training topics included: Financial and Administrative management, Proposal Writing, Fundraising Strategies, Monitoring and Evaluation Technics, Legal procedures for registration of NGOs Life skills training and English language courses.
